Head Start Enrollment
Kalamazoo County Head Start/School Readiness program offers no-cost pre-school for three and four year olds from low income families. Services offered include transportation, meals, programming for special-needs children and more. Call 373-5006 for more information for an application.
Immunization Clinics
Children from two months to 18 years of age can receive immunizations at Comstock Community Center. Bring immunization record. Fees based on ability to pay. 4th Tuesday of each month. Call 373-5203 for more information.
Well Child Clinics
Children from birth through 18 years of age, without Healthy Kids or MIChild, who live in Kalamazoo County, and whose family meets eligibility requirements, may come to the Well Child Clinic. Complete head-to-toe physicals are done free of charge Please Call 373-5116 to schedule an appointment.
Vision and Hearing Screening
Appointments can be made by calling 373-5031.
MIChild/Healthy Kids
Health Insurance for Children is for families who are at or below 200% of poverty (family of 4 with annual income of $32,900 or below would qualify and whose children are under the age of 19). Cost is $5 per family per month. For applications and information, call 373-5089. Spanish speaking assistance is available.
