Carolyn Mack Tours is inviting all genealogists from the Southwestern Michigan area to join this motorcoach
research journey to Washington. DC. This visit to our nation's capitol will allow five full days devoted to research at
three different facilities which include the following:
National Archives and Records Administration
Library of Congree (Local history and Genealogy Reading Room)
Daughters of the AMerican REvolution Library
Dates: October 19- October 25, 2008
$899.00 per person based on double occupany
Tour Includes:
Transportation ny deluxe Cardinal Motorcoach with tour manager
Six nights lodging at Arlington Residence Court A Clarion Collection Hortel
Driver gratuity and baggage handling at the hotel
Ten included meals, 6 full American Breakfasts and 4 buffet dinners.
This tour is designed for genealogical research purposes but our coach will be available for extra excursions
in which our group may wish to participate.
Such options include:
An afternoon at Mt Vernon for $13.00
An illluminated evening driving tour past the U S Capital, White House, Supreme Court, National Cathedral.
Embassy Row, Smithsonian etc.
An optional narrated sightseeing "trolley day" aboard the Old Town Trolley is offered for an additional $32.00
These touring excursions will depend on group interest and number of participants and will be decided upon during
our tour. Our coach will shuttle between The Arlington Residence Court Hotel and the libraries.
